Her goal is to show sex using ethical production practices, to normalise real plot developments and finally, to provide space for safe and radical sexual exploration. Val also functions as Community Manager of Lips, an up-and-coming social media platform that creates a safe space for self-portrayal of women and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Val Elefante is a sex-positive feminist author and filmmaker. In 2019, she graduated from Harvard, where she studied Social Sciences and wrote her thesis on feminist and queer debates of pornography titled "Beyond Pleasure and Danger: Autonomy and the Ethics of Pornography".
