feuer.zeug is a project based in Freiburg (Germany). The group surrounding Kira Renée Kurz and Leon Schmalstieg not only wants to produce fair feminist pornography, but also wants to ensure that the portrayal of sexuality is discussed more openly. To that end, feuer.zeug organises lectures and discussions and tries to weave the topic of porn into the public discourse.
feuer.zeug was founded by two students, Kira and Leon.
Their first film RETOUR picks up a classic porn motif — first meeting while hitchhiking — and takes it down a completely new path. Their second film SEESEITEN (Sides of a Lake) pursues the topic of masturbation. Their third film 2 OR 3 THINGS I LIKE ABOUT HIM deals with various perspectives of watching porn.
