HardWerk Studio

HardWerk emerged out of a modern love story when Paulita Pappel and Rod Wyler met on a dating app and began to exchange their thoughts on pornography. When they found out that they not only shared a passion for BDSM and kinks but also shared film-making experience within and outside of pornography, they joined together to create HardWerk.

Paulita Pappel is a Spanish filmmaker and feminist pornographer. Since her studies in Comparative Literature in Berlin, she has worked both in front of and behind camera. She is the founder of Lustery, a platform that is dedicated to the sex life of real couples across the globe. She is a co-director of HardWerk, a hardcore film studio that produces cinematically tailored gang bangs. Additionally, she is co-organiser and curator at the Pornfilmfestival Berlin. Paulita has worked as a producer, director, performer and intimacy coordinator and advocates for a sex-positive, consent-based culture.

Rod Wyler is a filmmaker and pornographer. After his Art studies, he turned his attention towards film and created a series of works that deal with sexuality. After that, he discovered his passion for porn. He is co-founder of the hardcore film studio HardWerk and also its creative director.
