Mahx Capacity (they/them) is founding member and creative director of AORTA Films. As "white, fat, trans/non-binary Taurean pleasure prince", Mahx is convinced she can use queer porn as a tool for destabilising passion, powerful vulnerability and complex humanity. Mahx's work has been distinguished in the USA, Italy, Switzerland and Austria. "You can find them in Brooklyn, daydreaming about the mouthfeel of skyscrapers, deepening their BDSM practice, and contemplating what strangers look like when they come."
Mahx has a background in experimental performance. Mahx's short and feature films are shown at festival all around the globe. Mahx won Best International Short Film at the Hacker Porn Film Festival (Rome, 2018) for their film "Full". Their feature film "(W/HOLE)" (2019) received Best Film at the Vienna Porn Film Festival and the Hacker Porn Film Festival. Mahx is a quintessential maximalist and is happy to create porn in such a deeply vibrant community. Mahx contributed to films by Four Chambers, Meow Meow Collective and AORTA. Moreover, Mahx was invited to speak and educate on podcasts such as STRAND Bookstore, Consider This, Brooklyn College, First Person Plural Salon, Posture Magazine, at the Hacker Porn Film Festival, Tristan Taorminos Sex Out Loud and Tina Hornes "Why are People Into That?".
