Menelas

Menelas is involved in what he calls activism through art in Athens. He curates an annual exhibition called Civil Disobedience since 2011, which includes the performance night: “Drag Queens read Homoerotic Poetry” since 2016. He also created and co-founded the Queer Theatre Awards that run between 2012 and 2018 giving more recognition and visibility to queer plays staged in Athens during that period.
